All cacti except "3860" were photographed at the extraordinary Boyce Thompson Arboretum in Arizona. "Golden Barrel 3860" was the inspiration for this series. It is an endangered specimen from the equally extraordinary US National Botanical Garden at the foot of Capital Hill in Washington D.C.
